Martin Polanco, MD, is the director of the clinical program for Special Operations Veterans and a board-certified psychiatrist. He has worked with a wide variety of clients to treat complex mental health conditions. He founded the Crossroads Treatment Center, which proved the efficacy of psychedelics in treating addiction. His research has contributed to the growing body of knowledge about psychedelics, especially Ibogaine and 5 MeO-DMT.
The clinic is actually two homes. The owners rent two homes in a gated community south of Tijuana. There are treatment rooms, staff offices, a sauna, a hot tub, hammocks, and a garden.
